Rafinha: It is every player's dream to join Real Madrid
Rafinha is one of three right-backs that los Blancos are tracking at the moment, with the Primera Division leaders also said to be looking at Gregory van der Wiel of Ajax and Liverpool's Glen Johnson, according to a report in Spain.
The Brazilian defender, who only joined Bayern from Genoa last summer, insists that he is happy at the Allianz Arena but confessed that a move to Madrid would be something of a dream come true.
"This is the first time I’ve heard about this,” Rafinha told Goal.com. “But if true, it is an honour to be considered by a club like Real Madrid.
“It is the dream of every player to play for Real. This shows that I'm doing my job well and it motivates me to work even harder.
“But of course, I have a contract until 2014 with Bayern Munich. I am very happy here at Bayern, which is a great club.”
The Bavarians reportedly paid Genoa €5.5 million for Rafinha, who has one Brazil cap to his name.
